"That IT MADE SENSETO DIE -TO HAVE LIVED."

Adam von Trott (1909-1944), who gave his name to our foundation, campaigned against the arbitrariness and violence of National Socialism from the mid-1930s. He helped the persecuted, worked in the "Kreisau Circle" on concepts for a democratic future for Germany in a united Europe and helped plan the attempted coup on July 20, 1944. That is why he was murdered on August 26, 1944. As an association, we preserve his memory and make Adam von Trott, his fate and his thoughts better known.
